Our Mission
To provide a safe, educational summer camp for francophone and French Immersion students where they can have the opportunity to practice their French language skills all while having fun under the summer sun.
Since 1982, Loisirs Au Soleil has operated a highly regarded French Summer Day Camp in Mississauga for francophone and French Immersion students. Our non-profit organization is directed by parent volunteers in affiliation with the City of Mississauga's Recreation and Parks Department. Volunteers prepare the yearly budget, hire summer camp counselors, process camp registrations, handle the payroll and work with the camp counselors to ensure a safe, enjoyable camp experience for all campers. We are very proud of the opportunity we offer to the French community and French immersion students and the number of returning campers is testament to our achievement. Camp will not operate in 2008 due to insufficient parent volunteers to help run the camp. Interested parents please step forward so the camp can resume operation for 2009.
